GENESIS OF THE PROJECT
Foster is the ambitious project of a Belgian family of entrepreneurs, soil lovers, driven by authenticity, environmental impact, and conviviality.
The founder, Louis-Guy du Bois aimed at creating the first ethical and sustainable ecosystem in Wallonia which brings together earth jobs, catering jobs and intellectual professions.
After extensive renovations, Terfosse comes back to life and becomes Foster by promoting:
- An access to a farmland for organic market gardeners
- A place for artisans to develop their skills and demonstrate their talents
- A collaboration area for entrepreneurs
- A larder of flavours for food lovers
- A meeting place for everyone, family, friends, clients
Thanks to its unique location in Rosières, 15 km from Brussels and 15 km from Wavre and Louvain-la-Neuve, Foster is close to main highways while nested in stunning nature. The official opening is planned for Autumn 2023 but visits on site are possible from now on with just a mail to hello@foster.farm.

A PLACE FOR CATERING ARTISANS
At Foster, we support and develop artisans’ projects which pay particular attention to the pleasures of the table, healthy and tasty food, and sustainability.
Several workshop areas are available for artisans who share our values. The place is especially appropriate for catering jobs and table arts.
Foster includes production, storage, supply spaces, and even counter space to sell products to customers.

Foster offers various workspaces and inspirational conference rooms to (re-)connect as a team and create synergies with farmers and artisans.
Business meetings, conferences, events, team buildings, networking events, morning meeting points: all you need and much more to welcome teams and help them to collaborate in an idyllic space with easy access to highways.

We support and develop artisans’ projects that put the spotlight on seasonal products and aim for sensible and sustainable farming.
Foster is divided into a few growing spaces to rent for local producers respecting our values.
Ideally south-facing and sheltered from the wind, Foster’s land is ideal for growing vegetables, fruits, seeds, forgotten cereals, edible flowers and much more.
A PLACE TO EAT IN THE MIDDLE OF NATURE
Our restaurant will soon offer an authentic and tasty cuisine throughout the week and weekends. Our pantry is reserved for chefs who want to create dishes using high-quality ingredients reconnected to the rhythm of nature and seasons.
Our restaurant, accessible to Foster’s tenants but also to the public, will welcome everybody who looks for an excellent meal adapted to celebrate all life’s occasions.
Reception rooms are also available for rent for private or professional events.

Foster’s farm where the workshops are held is surrounded by nature: meadows, cultures, woods, ponds, and gardens.
Undoubtedly, Foster offers a particularly nice work environment for artisans.
Artisans benefit from an ideal spot to showcase their skills to partners and consumers.
SUSTAINABILITY
Foster is one of the first buildings in Wallonia to be virtually energy self-sufficient.
You can find a park of photovoltaic panels, small wind turbines and storage batteries behind the farm to power the various areas.
Besides, Foster has natural drinking water and a water recycling system.
